Ive done it all, just saw bowling for columbine, it was exellent (i know there was a thread on it) but seriously, this guy has no college degree, he was elected to office when he was only 18, he was on welfare when he decided to make a movie, right a book, now look at him. how to turn your liofe around eh? anyway i agree with most of this guys views, his humour is great, and i cant wait for his next book on how 9/11 helped bush to push his agenda, and get the wars he wanted. props to moore.

i have a question, if the reason American gun faitalities are so high isn't what more said it was, than what is it? There must be some reason because we do have many times more gun deaths a year than other countries.

i'm a right winger, and i HATE bush, and most republicans. I HATED reagan, tho i didnt mind bush sr., and even nixon cuz he had the guts to take men outa nam. In fact, even tho i am a right winger, i still would vote democrat, because they do better for there country. Look at the greatest presidents of all time, Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Truman, and Kenedy. all democrats. Possibly even washington, since his major opposition formed the republican party.

i'm not sure if this has already been posted...but this is my theory on the gun-violence in america:

america is a country of power. They maintain their power, by making others submissive of themselves. A typical person wants power, as it is human nature. These people can obtain power from putting an individual in a defensive situation, hence, using violence as a means. Everyday in the american society, people are faced with situations, where their power is threatened (media, workplace, walking down the street), their social standing is threatened when they see someone as a threat. They know that guns are a way of putting someone under themselves, because it leaves the person scared, and in fear.

I don't think many other countries desire power as much. They've accepted that they can use intellect and money as a means of power, and don't feel the need to resort to violence as a means of social advancement.

RHCP, linclon was a republican but back then the republican party was just starting and it was more like the demicratic party is today, they were liberalists, so as soon as the democratic party started up half of the republicans joined it...thats for all of you republican

the parties were somewhat flipped back then. democrats ruled the south, republicans the north. this gradually changed in the mid-20th century. now the democrats are more popular in the north, while the republicans control the red neck inbred bible belt south.

The questions all made perfect sense, and should have answers, but whatever the fuck you want. also, hsi point was to make an ass of him, which he did, but in a respectful manner, so i respect him for that. I respect him for being the one citizen to stand out, in a nation that no one else dares to try, and to question things, thats why i respect him. also, would it be different if a senator questioned someone about weapons? yeah you wouldnt give a fuck, but this citizen cannot ask? just gimme a reason why i shouldnt respect him and his opinions?

actually, the truth is, no one ever knows the whole truth about anything (above claims to know, but he doesnt) you really can never be too sure, i mean, even the president isnt (look what happened in sudan) he thought he knew the story. SHit, no one will ever know why for sure... theres so many things that will never be answered... moore just did his best to answer them... i respect him for that.

do you believe everything you're told?? the purpose of Moore's documentary was to raise concerns for gun control, not to tell the entire truth. Just saying 'these people died, this is how someone reacted to it' doesn't do shit, he wants to raise concerns that these are still happening. That's what a good artist does, he make you think about what you just watched, not just tell you what happened, but makes you question WHY it happened.
