I'm not sure thats it, as sick as that is. The location I remember had a kicker that cam out of some trees, and the skier went over the open tracks, with the train going under it. I'm ripping SM1 right now, I'll have a vid in a few.
i believe it was the cover shot for "chapter 3" from a long time ago, evan raps "iron cross 3" no grab. also had a FREEZE mag featured photo of skogen sprang corked with no grab, maybe a "skodeo" seven? all many years ago. unfortunately i dunno where, donner pass seems the most likely, def cali.
there are 2 different gaps there is the one that Evan Raps, Skogen Sprang, and jamie Burge hit... Even hit it 1st with a straight air then he hit it again , the train came and he did a 360 iron cross, then Skogen hit it and did a no Grab Flat spin 3 over it, then Shane anderson hit it with a back flip and finally jamie burge with a straight air.. that was in Chapter 3..
the 2nd train gap at a different location on donner Summit which has about 20 feet more to clear and not nearly as step landing was hit in ski movie 2 not 1, Brad Holmes, rod Adams, kent Kreitler and Jamie Burge hit it, Jamie straight aired it, Kent did a big tucked up 360, Brad holmes a laid out back flip and Rod Adams did a lincon loop... and since then the gaps havent really been hit that much, i think a massive cork

i've driven that road many times... I'm certain that there are lots and lots of places you could jump over those tracks and make it sick. CR Johnson has that line in one movie with the jumping off a tunnel at the top... that's the same area.
no the train tunnels in donnor pass are broken into peices. the train gap has been done in multiple locations, but the one you are talking about is right at the beginning of one of the tunnels. im sure people do it more often, but they just dont film it
a good friend will bail you out of jail, a best friend is the guy on ur rights saying, "damn that was fun"
I jumped it also with calskierx-pictures to go up somepoint in the near future. It was pretty awesome, though considering there are miles of it the part you are thinking of is probably somewhere else nearby.
well the one raps and those guys hit you cant sled to. and the reason not to many people hit it anymore is its kinda played, no one seems interested since theres Way better stuff in tahoe to build thats more origional.
ya sure nick, how many people do you see going out to film and build kickers over the train gap that was done in the 90s. ya like I was sayin, old dudes dont give a fuck anymore and neither does anyone else. Im not sayin its not legit, or not fun, but how many times has it been in movies. fuck lets go hit clayton while were at it, no ones hit those rails.
man, i used to have an old powder mag (i think it was a photo issue) and it had a bunch of huge gaps. there was that train one from ski movie as well as the one that rod adams overshoots and breaks his back. i wish i still had it. there were a bunch of other ones too. ski movie is sweet, but i don't have a tv or vcr to watch it on anymore. way to bring back the old school!
CR did it in a line in a movie, i think it was WSKI.
