Getting an Icon

6k is way too small for an icon. I don't understand how everyone else did it, but I grabbed a jpeg off of image search, shrunk it down to 40 pixels by 40 pixels (because 50 was still too big) set the quality to zero on photoshop and its still 12k. wtf?

on photoshop you can do "save for web" and it will be much smaller. otherwise its almost impossible.

save it as a low quality jpg in photoshop, like drag the quality down to about 3
