Hey i was just wondering if anyone could give me a hand, i was looking into getting a new car and was leaning towards the jetta tdi, price, fuel economy that junk. I recently went over to europe and noticed that pretty much every model of the Audis and VWs came with the option of the turbo diesel, does anyone know when those models will hit the US market...thanks
thats retarded. of course we are talking about cars...that are...sold...and bout...
new is an un nessisary word there, and it confused me. I thought he meant there were new companies that had not been around for a while that will start selling Deisel cars in the US. Of course they are not going to sell their old desiel cars in the us...
yeah but they are shit compaired to the other diesels out there i think the jetta tdi has 90 hp and very low torque, and and you get around 50mpg, the european models go up to about 300 hp and they get around 75-80 mpg
None of the european jettas go up to 300 hpi. About 200 HP appears to be the max. Also, I think your mpg rating is in metric units. 80 kpg is equal to about 50 mpg.
i probably should have typed that more clearly but what i was trying to say was the jetta is prety much the most reasonably priced turbo diesel sedan in the US, and that the turbo diesels sedans and wagons are all over europe can get up to 300 hp, the information i was told was 80USmpg, but thats just what i was told
