Would you tell your parents about ISS?

This is kinda lame but whatever. Last Friday, I got kicked off of the computers at school from all my classes because I was playing a computer game. I also got ISS, in school suspension.
Anyways, my mom is going to email my teacher about parent teacher confrences. I'm afraid that the teacher will tell her about me getting kicked off the computers.
I haven't found out about if I have ISS or not but I don't want to tell my mom about the computer thing until I know for sure if I have ISS or not.
My question is, should I tell her now or tell her if the teacher emails her and tells her. If she emails her and tells my mom I was going to say that I wasn't going to say anything until I knew for sure I had the ISS so that way she wouldn't think I had ISS incase I didn't.
What would you guys do? This is a big problem because this could end my ski season early due to this.

if all you were doing was playing a game, tell her, i found that telling my mom is way better. tell her that you weren't doing anything anyways though. say you were done h/w and stuff.

ya just explain it in your perspective. I find if your mom knows your perspective first then she will not believe what the teacher says unless you outright lied. However, if the teacher gets to her first then its gonna be a lot harder to convince her. Stuff like that with my mom I just joke about it, like "Hey mom how stupid is this, I might get an ISS for playing fucking games"

just tell ur mom...this kind of stuf always comes back to kick u in the ass. i got a warning for bad grades and behavior and i didnt show my parents and then there was an email from my guidence counserler saying that i got this and that she hopes that stuff at home is being worked out. i told my parents i never got it and they didnt really believe me but they eventually forgot about it. it would have been alot better if i just showed them. woulda saved a lot of stress.

Well, I told her and I got a whole discussion from my dad how I need to change my life and I need to try harder even though I've been trying my hardest. Oh well, feels better. Glad I told her. Thanks brothas. peace

hopefully your mom wouldnt freak out about you playing a computer game at school. if that happened to me and i got suspended my parents would think it was ridiculous and i wouldnt be in any trouble at all. tell ehr the truth tho. makes things WAY easier.

yea feels better now bro doesn't it..
also theres a good chance that your parents dont like your teachers that much anyway. so if you tell them first they can just kinda dismiss the teacher and be like 'yeah we've already discussed this with my son'. im pretty sure that being a parent and being rung up by a teacher and basically told that they are being bad parents and need to sort their son out isnt the best feeling in the world.. so aways tell them first and it keeps them onside with you. remember they've been kids too and they probably had pretty nasty teachers too. in my last year at highschool my whole calc class decided that we would rather sit on the grass and play cards than go to calc so we didnt bother going to class (except for 2 people lol!) our teacher got all upset and anal about so we all got issued with after school detentions, i go home and tell mum, at first she was kinda anoyed that i'd got myself a detention but then after a coupla mins she started laughing and decided that the teacher was basically a douche.
anyway thats my rant for the day.
moral of the post: always tell your folk asap, ya'know get a pre-emptive strike in, ya dig?
