so im buying a new helmet but i dont know what to get, i like helmets that are lowprofile and dont make my head look like a water melon it needs to be warm comfortable and strong, i like the look of the smith holt and bern baker. AND i want it cheap but ill probally be getting it off ebay so ill find a deal so throw some good helmets at me. Oh and i love that salomonpatrol ace helmet but that only comes out in decmber 2007.
im looking for the same kinda helmet u want and im pretty sure im going to get the holt. It looks sick and i think its pretty low profile.
can someone put up a pic of a kid wearing one?
oh and how easy do the earflaps on the holt come of cuz my old helmet if the earflap net slighty to the side like if you put it in a bag they unsnapped and i reallllllyyyyyy hate that, so anyone know how well they stay on, because i dont plan on taking them off, and anyone tried boeri roller?
Ordered one earlier this week. Fucking snow storm (that completely missed me) delayed it though, so I probably won't get it for this weekend. I'm pretty sure god hates me...
Boeri and Giro both make really comfortable helmets. They're low-profile and fairly cheap. I've had my Boeri for close to 3 1/2 years now, and it still looks and works as good as new.
RED HIFI... not the smallest looking helmet I guess, but its light and wicked comfortable, not to mention it fits realll well with crowbars, second choice would be a Giro g-10, didn't like the encore, weird fit and heavier than those 2
