What's 270 off going to be easier off?

I know it's easier to spin off rails, so which will be easier for me to get my first 270 off with, a shotgun or a flat?
I tried a about 6 times on the shotgun today but I always get stuck at about 200. I'm going on natural, and spinning off natural, so blind 270. I haven't tried going unnatural to land switch simply because I can't really get any moment at all to come on spinning left, then going off spinning right.
I used the search bar but I can't really get much. I'm doing my rails with my skis flat, I've seen a lot of people doing a ^ kinda thing with their skis over the rails, but I'm not sure which way is considered "correct" on shotgun rails. Will either way make my first 270 off any easier?

If it's really short, spin on and then look over you shoulder imediately. So there's barely any hesitation on the rail. If your going frontside 2 out, it should be on a longer rail, because it's pretty hard to stop your momentum, and then spin the other way imediately.

i learned on a really short rail, but right before you pop off, make sure you are looking at the lip you jumped off of to get on the rail. it will put your head in the right spot to keep spinning.
