Ok! I was just searching for this really kick ass freestyle walking short video. I can't remember where it is...anyone know it? It's the one with like 3 guys doing the vid. and they are at like the beach jumping off of rails and shit. Not the shitty sand dune one! Thanks!

dude, just watch Ski Movie 3 in Jon McMurray's part, he throws backflips off ledges and drops 40 feet, and dspins and gainers, and everything.

Freestyle walking is far from gay and far from a distraction from skiing; it depends on who does it and how it's done.

Yeah, I know. People doing 'switch 360 tail grabs' on the ground is pretty stupid and not very technical.

That is why you should up the anny.

Do that same 360 over a 15 foot long pit full of sharp pointy objects, and is it still 'gay'?

All I'm saying is try new things - it's only as challenging and fun as you make it.

A distraction from skiing? while it's not skiing it keeps you in the mindset of skiing.

And if you do crazy ass shit on the ground that scares you and you must push yourself in order to do it, then it's very similar to skiing. Because just like skiing, you are staying active, having fun, and pushing yourself to do a flip or whatever when you feel nervous about it.

Freestyle walking is what you make it.

i freestyle walk everyday it helps you out big time... i dont have a tramp. so i cant practice stuff, i walk down rails without soaps to just walk down them like i was skiing it is really, really hard... u have to do it so slow and sometimes to learn the rails it takes like 30 trys, it may not be dangerous but it definately is balance, also i learned a lot of spins doing freestyle walking, like ghost dragon said if you make it hard it can help u when u ski
