it works great....only problem i have is it doesn't compress the video at all, which means each dvd rip is like almost 8 gigs.

thats why you just get toast aswell, and it will compress the video to fit on a 4,7 gig disc for you.

dvd shrink does the same thing only it will compress the dvd so it will fit on a 4.7 gb dvd.

yea i use it and love it but if u use toast titanium to burn the files its compresses it for you, get it

quick follow up:

through a combo of three apps i have figured out how to burn dvds with all menus intact. i rip with mac the ripper, compress with dvd2oneX, and burn with toast 7 titanium.  it takes about 45 minutes per disc and it's working great.

I got it now, but it just puts my movies into .vob and some stupid shit. any advice or can someone help me here?

.vob and all the other files is how an uncompressed DVD looks. You can play them off your computer with VLC player.

or just drag the video_ts folder onto your dvd player app. (on a mac at least)

choose dvd from video_ts in toast. then drag the video_ts folder into the window.
