ARV in park?
I was planning on getting T-Halls, but the shop doesn't carry any so demoed some ARV's today (I can get last years for cheap). They did great in powder/tress and I did a bit of park and they felt really light on the few jumps and rails I was able to try. Anyway, before I decide whether to get them or not, I ski a lot of park and was wondering if anyone who had more experience on them then me could tell me how they hold up in the long run in park?
The only other thing is I'm 5'11" and 155 lbs but they only have last years in 175, that's the size I demoed and it seemed fine though.
Ive had them for a year and i like them in park but youll find that theyre really buttery and soft. The wider underfoot is nice for bigger jumps and support on rails.

im 6 feet 170-175 and i ski the 176 as my park ski....i love it ....super stable and sick on rails
yea def go for the 175 as a park ski. Im on 185s...dont ski much park but the length isnt a plus for spinning. I can see 175s being really fun tho
i have 175's and i am 5'4" 130lbs and they are sick in pow, crud, trees, but in park its a little hard for me to throw them around, but i have 161 salomon 1080's for that anyways.. but you are tall enough and big enough so you should be fine.

Alright awesome, I was worried about the length mostly because everyone just says to go with bigger skis.
One last thing, since I'm doing a lot of park, should I mount them closer to center or center? Maybe -1cm from center?
are u looking to ski pure park, or park and all mountain
cause if you wanna ski park purely go for the 175
but if u want pow and crud with ok park ability get 185 (or whatever the 18- is)
ARVs are a like a wider version of scratch FSs or AR6s or chronics. I feel like I havn't been able to use mine to full effect since my boots absolutly SUCK ASS the flex index is 50, I know that that's not a universal measurment system, but anything below 80 usually blows chunks. Anyway they're sick in the park.
this thread is harshing my mello
what ARVs are u on? any of em after 0405 are soft as hell
I got 05-06 ARV 175 centermounted,, their awsome in the park and all mtn.
