With all of this talk about shoes, i got to wondering what kind of shoes are the best for freeride mtn. biking? I know skate shoes are the best bet, but wat kinds?

etnies have alot of padding in it and the have a special sole with gel or something i don't know but when you land hard on your feet it hurts a shit load less

don't spend a shit load of money on shoes for biking unless you're rich. they'll get torn up fast

Globe's would work; flat bottom, super padded, especially on the top of your foot.

well some are more durable, a tread pattern might work better than another, so just wondered if their were any differences.
