i am going to make a box, and was wondering if 1/8 inch thick is going to be too thin if i want to use screws. i saw one person said it was too thin, but i wanted some others opinions. thanks
yeah id say at least 1/4" if your going to screw it down. make sure you get a countersinking bit though
ooooo pedophile.... thats a big word for a 9 year old.
yeah you cant countersink screws if its 1/8 inch
what about 3/16 inch thick?
i havent used 3/16 but i bet it would work as long as teh heads of the screws are small. i think it might be cutting it a little close. i havent decided if i want to try the 3/16 or if i should just pay the extra $ and get 1/4 for another box i want to build
