Camera advice

hey im looking to get a camera, i want it to be digital due to the cost of developing and buying film, im looking for a fairly high end one but with cost still in mind. I want to be able to shoot decent sequences, and was wondering if anyone had some sugestions thanks

nikon d80 or d40.
depending on how serious you are.

nikons can use [b]any[/b] of the old nikon lenses too, so you can get cheap used lenses to use on it. if you get a canon you will be limited to only their newest series of lenses.

XT's a good camera, but if you're really in to sequences, it only shoots 3fps. It's what I shoot with, and I like it a lot, but if you're looking for something higher end, I'd look for a used 10D or used 20D. If you want a good DSLR and just like playing around and maybe making sequences, the XT is a great camera

you can find used Xt's for around 300-400

I am looking into the Nikon D80, they say it is an excelent camera. Good enough for beginers. My problem is it isn't very cheap. ~$1500 canadian
