Bandana on the face

alright, so when it's really cold out, or if it's like hailing and shit, it's good to have a belaclava, or in most cases, a bandana across the face to keep your skin fresh...

but why? why, must people wear the bandana on a warm spring day? i mean seriously? it's not comfertable, i don't know, i guess i'm not yo enough.

i wear it around my neck, and if needed, i pull it up. i wear it cuz the inside of my jacket makes my face really raw.

I saw a kid at a party last year in mammoth during the west coast invitaional with one on at 2 am I walked up and pretended to blow my nose on his rag. haha very funny

I tried it once and all the water vapor in my breath condensed on the bandanna in front of my mouth and the thing was wet in about 10 minutes so I took it off. I've never tried it again since.

i wear a bandana. but seince the EC is cold as hell. it freezes on the chairliift rides and is then a pain in the ass to reset to its soft state. it works for about 3 runs, then its just wet and cold.

i know but it's just in my head, i feal more confortable wearing a bandana when i do the rail in my backyard than without, even if it's cold outside i could go without a bandana but i still wear one for what i told you. (when its spring and i go skiing, i dont wear a bandana)

cow boys did it to keep sand and dirt out of their faces along with sun and wind protection. Skiers have all the same reasons, wind sun and snow. along with the look. Why not wear one?

#2: they do help when its cold. anything that will trap the heat of your breath will help.
#3: having something cover your face can have a subcocncious effect of making you feel safer.

Yeah, I think most little kid snowboarders do it cuz shaun white does...

for me, i like to cover my whole face with a gator, they don't freeze and are warm.

the key to not getting them all wet and frozen it to layer 2, the one on the inside gets somewhat mopist but the one on the outside stays nice and dry and not frozen:D. but balaclavas are really gay and its fuckin cold in canada as everyone knows so we need some ballin was to remain somewhat warm

I use a fleece face mask/gator for the colder days because it insulates more than a bandana. But for the days where it's too warm for the fleece, I go with a bandana because it has some wind protection and keeps the sun off me.

personally i think that when its hailing or snowing it frezees the bandana and it isnt warm anymore. i dont like bandanas thats not my style ive tried it b4 and i didnt liek it

You can only wear a bandana if you are hispanic or a theif either way, you probably should be robbing something. Bandanas can only be worn (for skiers) as a skull cap to absorb sweat or a rag to wipe snot. Don't be a gangster, theres no place to hold your gun when you have poles.

So when they nut them selves on the easiest rails on when the yard sale and burn off of an easy jump, no one can tell who they are. That's why the bandanna is handy.
