A light freeride boot?

Right now I have a pretty light setup light skis and light bindings but I have Dolomite Super Carve GS boots (gift from my boss). They are fucking comfortable but they are so heavy its throwin everything off. I was wondering if anyone knew of a light boot?

well, my Lange Concept boots are pretty light. i don't think it matters too much because they're right under your foot, doesn't affect spinning, just walking/hiking.

Flexons - the design hasn't changed in so long for a reason. The best boot is the one that fits your foot best - try on as many as you can.

I think it makes you more mobile not to have heavy feet. When im in sneakers I can spin 7's and 9's on flat ground just jumping but can barley 180 standing in place on the snow in all my gear. I think it would help have light boots

but heavy boots can give you momentum once you get going

how do you like those concept boots, i have'nt heard much about them and have been considering them an option because they are cheap.

i really like them a lot, very nice and comfortable, good flex but not too soft, not too stiff, perfect for park skiing. Sick looking too. I got mine at getboards.com for $130

How light your setup doesnt matter that much unless it is extremely heavy but most dtuff is pretty close in weight and you wont be able to know the difference.
The difference that you will notice i assume your talking about when spinning is where on the ski your mounted and the swingweight.
The closer to center you are mounted the easier to spin and of course the size of the skis but if you have longer skis with a bit more weight it is easier to maintain you moumentum.
Try some lines with center mount if you want to helf yourself feel lighter in the air and easier to spin its more important to get a boot that fits your foot then a light weight boot.

my boots are kinda heavy, rossi softs, but my skis are really light so it evens it out, i dont have any trouble with weight

yeah, i was thinking about getting them off of getboards too. my friend advised me not to get them because they are super short or something and your legs will hurt but i don't think i can resist the price.

k heavy gear sucks balls. when i got new dalbellos, they were much heavier than my old pair and i noticed a huge difference. momentum sucks - you gotta try so hard to get everything moving, then you gotta stop it all to land. light gear is the key to everything. heavy gear makes anything harder than it should be.

concept boot rocks my panties. they are the bomb. way better than my rossi XX from last year or my banshee 110 earlier this year.
