Hungry Sloth's first installment.

keep in mind this is my first movie, and this past year was more of a "test" year, to get the hang of filming around and stuff. So don't hate if its not to your liking

hey, i just got ur movie in the mail the other day, and i must say SICK!! i liked how u kept it simple, and the quality was amazing, really niec shots. My dad was watching it with me, and hes watched LSS, shanghai six,WAR, and he liked ur movie the best. Nicely done, and thanks for the movie

got it today too! but I dont have a dvd player... looking forward to watch it soon. I thought it was a joke... I only hope it is not scratched because the dvd was off the middle piece and moving inside. but whatever. it is sickness at its more pure form just to have actually sent it

Ok heres the deal:

This was my first movie, my experiment. So that in the future, things run more smoothly.

I backed up all my shit when I was organizing my files. Some stuff got deleted. Now I cant burn copies!!

BUT

I have only 1 existing copy. I need to find a way to burn it using Mac the Ripper or Handbrake or something (it has to have menus encoded and shit)

then I can send copies out


sooo sorry dudes, I was so fucking pissed when this happened. Im still barely getting over it.

as I stated in a different thread, things have been very slow because I do not have any money at all, which is why I cant make a movie this year. This also means its hard for me to find a way to pay for burning materials and distributing the copies. I am in tahoe for another week and when I get back, I will do my best to send them out.

Its not that im lazy, believe me. The first thing I want to do is send my work out to people. but having a lack of money keeps getting in my way.

because to put it on the internet I would have to mega-compress it. Im am stingy about image quality and I have no way of preserving good quality and making it small enough for the internet at the same time. Plus the DVD has like an hour of bonus footage.

this movie is soo good, it is one of those movies you can watch over and over, there are so many good segments, the movie tells a good story of winter, reminds me alot of afterlame and lame, the funny thing is landis has never seen those movies, its alot of his own style!!

I find it strange how I know how to edit a full length ski movie, yet I am bewildered when it comes to zipping a single file....




...and besides, I like the concept of having a DVD. With a DVD you have a DVD cover, carefully artistically designed menus, and over an hour of bonus footage.

lucky! my dad things I'll catch a virus on my Mac when I dont even have an internet connection on it! he believes anything he reads about viruses on virus-protection software he sees at best buy; ahaha hes so computer retarded its hilarious but fucking annoying too.

I highly doubt he'll even read this but if he finds it, Kudos dad! you're not an e-tard!
