I was watching Subject to Change this evening and after seeing the Jamie Pierre section I was a little confused. Don't get me wrong, the guy throws down some stuff that requires some serious balls, but a lot of the time he eats shit. I just don't think balls=skills and thus I don't think he is film worthy.

so what if he eats shit, so does tanner and everyother guy. do you really think they go out and throw there shit down first try? They probably or he probably just chose to show some of his spills to make it more real, falling is part of the sport and should therefore be shown in the videos

no offense to Jamie Pierre, but saying this second hand from someone who skis with a few of those Utah pros, he is more a of Rob Holmes skier. Hucks a lot of really crazy shit, but technically isnt a very good skier at all in comparison to all the other pros out there.

yeah he isnt that technical but hes insane and its fun to watch him huck some insane cliff and fall, but if you think he doesnt deserve to be in movies then maybe you should do better and replace him

ya i ski utah and ive seen him rip the shit out of some pretty gnarly runs, the other day i saw him ski up non chalantly to an 90 footer and lay out the hugest front flip ive ever seen and this wasnt even on a powder day

yeah, you're pretty much bound to not land shit when you're hitting 100 foot drops and throwing front flips, etc. it's probably more dangerous to try and land those tricks than it is to just let go and eat shit...i still think he's a good skier

I guess my grounds for comparison are to skiers like Morrison, Micah, Kreitler, Swany, Jeremy Nobis, Collins Brothers, etc. In my opinion, those guys are riding at a higher level. Again, I still say Jamie P. has some serious balls for throwing some of the stuff he tries.
