I noticed these camps are in the same location, which one do you think is better? If I have a chance of going to camp this summer it is between these, cause they are alot cheaper then the Canadian camps... what do you guys think?

I think I've gotten mailings from both, all Stars seems to focus on Tanner Hall, but uh, all Stars actually looked decent to me.
however, check the prices, canadian camps are almost the same, for the town of whistler makes up for the difference.

the town of whistler also means spending way more money, no matter how old you are. i would check out the montana camps, they actaully have some steeps to ski too

yeah i mean the whole vibe in whistler and mt. hood is way better but if you really just want to get your shit dialed in and don't have tons of cash (who does?) then either one seems like a good call to me

Yeah, I just wanna get the best bang for my buck I guess, and spend the least amount as possible. It would be cool to go to a camp like high north, but i don't need all that extra shit that comes with it. I just wanna get the best I can, Ski all day, chill at night. Maybe If all star camp is the one i can smoke to j's with tanner. They both seem real close to being the same. It just comes down to which one is more affordable I guess.

Empire freeride also has a 5 day session, 3 days on the snow for alot cheaper.... Do you guys think 3 days on the snow is enough to leave happy, and leave learning alot more newer shit. considering when you can only do the basics to begin with?

EMPIRE!!! definately, all star is a mogul freestyle camp, while empire has park and big mountain. last year, all star camp had only a table and a rail, and the kids had to wait until it got built. Empire is the only camp up there that has acces to the out of bounds area. Also, for lodging, empire stays at a 4 star hotel, with a pool, hot tub, game room etc. all star stays in un heated cabins where a 0 sleeping bag are recomended. and the other two days that you arent on the snow, you can white water raft, paint ball, mountain bike, or hang out down town red lodge. Im doing it cuz it is going to be awsome and because it is close and i dont have to go far away like other camps(at least from where i live) nick mercon and GT are going to be up there and help build the park. last year tanner was up there, and some other pros. its going to be sick!!! empirefreeride.com

Whistler has steeps to ski to, it just takes a little more effort to ski them.

empire is going to be way better than allstar. they dont put much effort into the allstar camp, empire is going to have way more features to hit like (ski) said. so it will be worth your money. i ski on the beartooth pass every summer (where empire will be held) and it is a way cool place to ride. the backcountry is way fun as well. empirefreeride.com-check it out
