i was doing fine until today and now i just realized... this sucks. summer is going to be so boring, skateboarding and skating just arent enough fun. I need to get some of that carpet stuff for skiing in the summer. o well im rambeling

i had started off good,i was doing corks and killin rails like fuck all,but as the season went on,our park got so shitty and it was too depressing so i just slacked off big time

half the reason i miss skiing so much is because our mountain was finally starting to get a terrain park and i was finally able to progress. then of course the season ends and im stuck here reminising

yea skiing has changed me a ton. whenever i go somewhere i always seem to take in how many rails there are or even a good place for A urban jump/gap

well today was my last day and I'm not feeling any symptoms of withdrawl... YET... I'm sure I'm gonna crave skiing in a month or so anyways. But I've been skiing every weekend since the first day, not missing one day on the weekend and that was all the way the fuck back in November... whatver this year was chill and in an other 7 months or so we will all start a new one.. peace boys and girls and have a good summer

After this sunday, it's wakeboarding season for me!!! Although, I'm thinking that I'm going to miss skiing soon enough, I always do.

i am taking up fruitbooting again just so i can practice sliding rails and get more comfortable going switch. someone recommended soap shoes and i have some but i can't run near as fast as i can ski/skate so i don't think they will help as much. i am trying to come up with some contraption for my blades that mimics sliding rails on skis but so far have had no luck.

as i read that the idea for a contraption on blades for sliding rails like skiis has hit me.Try removing the middle two wheels and cutting the frame and H block away in that area on your skates and take some thin wood(not plywood, solid wood)or sheet metal or something slick and screw it or liquid nails it right into your skate. Thye might b hella sketchy but try it out i guees?

that sounds good except i don't want to permanently alter my blades--i'm thinking of contacting a welder who can make me a piece like a four inch long metal plate that is about as wide as a ski but still screws into the space for my two middle wheels--i walk my dog all the time on my blades so i don't want to fuck them all to hell

man i try not to think about it, but i always do. i stay up at night thinking about the pow days and about what i could have thrown off this cliff or that jump. like i progressed a lot but i always feel at the end of the season that i didn't accomplish everything with my season that i wanted to. but whatever, watch ski movies and get with a lot of girls it takes your mind off it. i can't wait till november!

girls are the best thing to take your mind off skiing. sex is right up there with skiing...shit sex is better, especially if its on a regular basis. And to the rollerblade kid, just get some old skates at a yardsale or sumthin and try what i said. your not gonna pay a welder to do that, thats ridiculous, prob be a lot of cash do do what you want.

Last summer I felt the same way (depressed) and it made my summer miserable. This year I am just transfering my stoke from sking to surfing and skating. Going to try to really progress. Plus summer equals lots and lots of partying, sleeping in and just chilling. Not bad at all, summer is what you make it, just like winter.
