Hum, first, I want to say that I haven't skied that 2 skis so all I'm saying is from what I heard.
If you do a lot of rails, T.Hall is better cause it has special jib edges. T.Hall is also softer than Ar5.
Maybe Ar5 is a lil' better on jumps because it's stiffer.
Take a 176, because I think you will mount them true center (or close to it).
I'm trying to help, but wait until someone who have skied them answers.

Not true at all, i hit 40-60fters alot during the season and as long as you know how to landed (aka landing on your whole ski, not the tips of your skis) then you're fine. As for thalls having "specail jib edges" they aren't special they are just detuned(which happens after a couple days of jibbing). I told ya in a PM thalls, and still thalls for what you're doing.

get t-halls. i had ar5s, and now this year im getting t-halls. i demoed fujis and just fell in love with the softer, wider ski. the softer skis didnt make landing big jumps hard at all. i mean its a 180cm(or 176, or whatever) long ski. its gonna hold u up.(unless you weigh a lot, which you dont). so basically, get t-halls

i have the 170 0506 ar5s and love them, edges are doing great, as far as jumps go they have the perfect stability, but you can still really flex the ski when needed its stiffer than thalls but you can still flex the ski out pretty well. you really cant go wrong w. either ski.

I just didn't know how to say that they are detuned under your feet.

yeah, but thats just a sales pitch...you can detune them yourself.

not completley true...but heath does have a point...alot of people land tip heavy landing switch...and backseat landing regular...then they say the skis are to soft...but some skis are just to soft for some body types...
