Poles and no poles

i know there are various threads about not using poles but i never really thought it was a big thing...just a little trend or something. i never really looked into it or read the threads i saw..now i'm wondering if alot of people are really skiing nopoles for good???

yeah i ski with out poles alot, its fun someties, doing some other stuff, and being able to do hand-drags easier, and when im doing filming i dont use poles and stuff, but i like having me poles personally

i messed around maybe 5-10 days without poles, and it was a lot of fun. mainly when teaching my ex to ski just learning hand drags and cool shit. took it to the park a few times and it was nice. i just feel like something is missing. i'll probably do about the same this season too...

it depends on the lift lines length, and waht the jumping conditions are i thonk, if its rally icy and hard i like poles, but if its super soft i tend to get really sloppy with my stomps and poles will stab in and jab me, plus sunday river has some pretty fun spots for no poles especially above the park

i have done no poles some times but i kinda prefer poles but i made a short pair
although if i am learning a trick i will tend to go no poles so i dont stab myself if i wipe out

I've been skiing with poles for so long that when i dont use them i feel like i'm gonna fall or skid out, even though i never do. It just feels unnatural.
