I'm so sick of how people say "should I do this to my skis" or "I can do a 720 in the park which makes me such a good skier."

Good skiers can do all of the mountain, including the steep stuff. If you can only ski park, you're NOT A GOOD SKIER. Park rats, get that through your head. Good skiers also know how to use the tuning of their skis to their advantage or how to use the width of their skis. They should also know what they are buying, because you don't buy a ski "just because they are sweet T-halls and theyre supposed to be the shit." Demo your skis before you buy, and know how to take good care of them.
Don't talk shit about what you don't know either.

This is all I can really think of now.

same here. im 16th in the nation for sl in my age and ya i still race, and i can ski park and pow better than ne of the kids on my mtn's freestyle team. and the park teams at most of the mountains in tahoe. and they talk so much shit to me if im racing that day. and then i go show them up in the park. the funnest thing me and my friend would do was wear our speedsuits and go in the park and do all these old school tricks of like the 50ftrs and then wen theyr laughin and makin fun of us wed jsut go do some gnarly rail or somtin huge of one of the jumps. haha good times

Park rats are good skiers at skiing park. Big mountain riders are good skiers at skiing on big mountains. Racers are ggod skiers at racing. Just like park skaters are good at skating park. Vert skaters are good at vert. And dudes who skate downtown are good a street.

ok so your sick of this, but there are some here who are not as lucky as you or I, yes I was a racer, freestyler and a powder skier and I love to park and pipe also, I come from the East, beleive me I know what it's like to ski on ICE, but isn't this whole idea here about skiing is to have fun and learn as much as we can so that we can enjoy it and have FUN so come on give 'em a break relax dude not everybody is an expert here, sure many are want to be's , weren't you at one time ?
