when i was little my brother used to bite his nails all the time, so the doctor gave my parents this sour tasting nail polish shit thats clear and you put it on and everytime you go to bite your nails it tastes like ass.

uhh biting your nails is a sign of anxiety dude. your anxious to do soething and cant so you bite your nails. more extreme is when u bite till they bleed, then its a definate anxiety issue

i stopped when i got braces because i physcially couldnt bite them. I do occasionally now just because i get bored. But.. get braces haha.

i bite em untill theres nothing left and then i chew on the cuticles.

Yeah I used to like crazy and then my dentist told me I was destroying my teeth. You need to find something else to do to keep your hands busy. And it doesn't mean you have anxiety disorder... it's just a habit.

get the weird gross tasting herb stuff. it's liquid stuff you can put on your nails if you bite, but you won't wanna cuz it's soo bitter and gross.

I used to bite my nails a lot (never had to use clippers) but I never do anymore.  Now I tap like crazy since I'm a drummer and I always have some beat in my head.  I also tend to grind my teeth when I'm under stress, but recently I started chewing gum like crazy and I think it's helping that.
