how can u save your skis from rails is it good to wax then not scrap for rails?

i'm not sure what you're asking here....but if it's how to prevent damage to your skis while doing a rail slide there's only one possible solution......DON'T SLIDE RAILS. Rail slides make your edges duller than....well, nothing is duller than your edge after a rail slide.

one is too many.... After about three rail slides you can notice a difference.

Don't worry when I start up my ski line I'll make some skis that can completely revolutionize jibbing. I would tell you what they're like but then I would have to kill you.

If you're only going to hit a rail like 5 times a day then it's ok. You can just sharpen every day. but everything depends on how good you are too. If you're just gonna learn rails and the rails are low then you may tend to slide off of them and dull the whole back/front half of your ski. but if you're good then you only dull right under your foot.

ya, as soon as yuo start sliding rails, your edges turn to shit. But since you prolly ski the park most of the time anyway, you dont need edges. especailly if you land wrong on a 540 or something, so you can sketch it out safely and not catch an edge. Log sliding does the same thing.

Quit being a pussy and just rail. Its not all that bad and the edge under your foot isn't that important. for the two most important kinds of skiing, park and powder, you dont need to worry about that part of your edge.

having no edge under you ski isn't an option in the east. The biggest patch of powder that I've ever seen was about 4 inches deep. So You'll almost always need to edge. And the edge under your ski matters a lot. If you carve at all it will hold the most amount of your weight so it should be the sharpest part so you don't slide out.

my skis have numerous scratches down to the wood and all edges are rusted and/or parting from the skis. who really cares.

You must buy a skis that's also for rails, but I doubt you can find real good quality. I think it's mostly built for snowboards.
