Why would you ever want to bend brakes smaller... it doesn't matter if they're wider than the ski. Only if they're too narrow to fit.

For example, I'm drunk as I type this, but I would have typed it anyway, even though I might fall back on that excuse if there are a lot of typos in there or it doesn't stand up to peer review. Do not let me get away with this."~
i wouldnt worry about it unless you notice them scraping. otherwise, just go to your shop. they very well have some skinny brakes to fit yur bindings. i mean how many ppl buy bindings with fat brakes for their skinny skis. not many. but compare that to how many people buy skinny bindings for their fat skis, then buy brakes. you might get a pair for free.

I'm bumping this old thread since I don't want to make a new one and I still want to hear this question answered....
My situation is very similar. I'll be putting brakes that have been bent to 110mm on my Dumonts at center. (No I didn't buy wide brakes for my park skis, I took the bindings off a pair of lizzies and I already have better bindings for my pow sticks.) Now what are the cons of this? Is there any possibler pros?
