have you guys ever tried drinking the stuff? i drank a bottle with three of my friends yesterday and it got me pretty damn drunk, but i didn't trip or see stuff like i have heard you can. also, if you have drank it how did you do it? we got some sugar soaked in absynth and heated it to carmel and then mixed it in, and it was still super intense.

I thought that the only way ud trip out and hallucinate and shit was if that one chemical was in it, the one thats illegal in north america.

You only hallucinate with wormwood in it.
And only certain types of absinthe really make you hallucinate.
My friend gets his brother to send it to him from the UK all the time, and has tried like 9 different types... some are really good, and some are just like drinking really really high percentage alcohol.

any absinthe you can buy legally in canada or the states isnt going to make you hallucinate. itll get you fucked because its 70% alchohol, but its illegal to have wormwood in it in high enough concentrations to do anything to you. for that you have to go to portugal or the czech republic. or buy it illegallly. but youll notice all the ads for the shit they have here never mention how you wont hallucinate...its basically a huge marketing scam. save you money and buy alcool 80%.

one of my friends brought it back from europe, but we read about it on the internet and i think he got some cheaper stuff (it was 40 euros). it said if it is an "emerald green" color it is usually cheaper, and the stuff we had was definetly an emerald green color.
