now this is a good thread, about time we had something like this here.
heres my list:
1. go outside on a summer afternoon. being outside while the sun is setting is amazing.
2. Save your pocket change at the end of the day. if you need to save money, save your odd singles too (works good if your in a position where you regularly have cash everyday. in about two weeks of saving, i had almost 50 dollars in change. and that is just from making an effort to collect random change, and save it. god knows how much i have now
3. Never do anything half assed. if you need to do something, do it right the first time. its always cheaper, quicker, and easier in the long run to make shure you get it right the first time.
4. i have found that while Downhill mountain biking (and all the other sports i do), that if im just trying to ride difficult terrain conservately, i WILL get hurt. if iam attacking, and really riding hard, i almost never go down. also, know when to call it a day. when your tired, you ride crappy and arnt as stable.
5. when you are about to eat ice cream, but its really hard, microwave it for 20 seconds. not only does it make it softer, but all the goodies are soft and gooey
6. listen to new music. go out, and actively search out new music.
7. the keeping things fresh/not rutine one is very true.
8. if you are working everyday like most of us now that summers here, make SHURE to make your weekends awesome. get some friends together, and take trips. explore new towns. go camping, go to the ocean/lake., meet new people.
9. NEVER pay full price for anything, theres almost always a way to get stuff cheaper
10. but dont buy random crap. save your money, and only buy things you need. then, when you REALLY want something special, (car, bike, stereo, ipod, whatever), you can afford it.
