Yeah...... how legit is this soundtrack. i love the movie... and the soundtrack is just as good. Its sorta emo, but really good. The Shins are awesome, and Don't Panic by ?Coldplay is awesome. i recomend watching the movie, and getting the soundtrack. if not, just sample it at www.cdnow.com

i was skeptical at first about seeing the movie, but it actually turned out to be one of the better movies i've ever seen.

i have it but i dont listen to it that often. i kind of got sick of it. amazing bands though, so try to burn it from someone before you buy it.

I didn't like the movie.
Portman was annoying.
It was nice to hear the Shins, Nick Drake and Iron and Wine in a movie although I would've probably chose different tracks. It's nice that it's been introducing people to some good music.

ohh! i thought the movie was amazing! it was soo good, i recomend it, but yeahh deff just burn the soundtrack, it kinda gets boring after the first few times listening to it

He wrote a pretty good movie, but he SUCKS at acting. It was almost irritating. But the movie was good enough to partially make up for that.

There's a joke blog called "THE SHINS WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE" that makes fun of indie rockers, can't remember the URL though.

The movie is cute, I liked it. Soundtrack is Starbucks indie but it's nice too.

I mean by "Starbucks-indie" that the songs, while good, are very 'safe' and likely selected by peer-group consensus (this is how film soundtracks are made). Kind of like how ski/snowboard movies are starting to use bog-standard electro or indie stuff, which is exciting to a skiier/snowboarder, but kinda played to ppl who are actually immersed in the musics.

Lane: I like Zach Braff but I don't think people not liking him makes them intellectually inferior or thirteen years old.

i really liked the movie, and i liked braff in his role. i thought he did a good job. just a personal pref. though. and the soundtrack is good.
