Good call on taking up skating. The basic tricks are ollies, shuvit's, 180's, kickflips and heelflips. Ollies are kinda hard to explain. You pop with your back foot, and arch your front up, so the board lifts up.
There are 2 things in life you should never pay for:
Sup ive been skateboarding for llike, 4 years, ollies are easy when u learn them, all you have to do is pop with your back foot on the tail and slide your front foot up, jump in the air in this process, the tricks you should start out with are like ollies, 180s, half-cabs(fakie 180s) 360's and maybe some basic grinding skills, also, learn to ride your board before you try ANYTHING.
Also, manualing is super fun...
skateboarding is fun. I'm not really a skateboarder though. I bought a skateboard. I can ride it pretty good but I sort of gave up on learning tricks.
There is nothing motherly about mother nature. Except for her big mountainous breasts.
ollies can be a bitch until you learn them, then they become really easy. Once you learn an ollie skating becomes a shitload funner. Just ollieing onto and over stuff is fun, after that learn boardslides, 50-50s, kickflips, shove its, and other basic shit
ya i also big into skating, alrihgt don't learn heelflips, they have no style, and don't learn shuvits, they have no style eitehr, and don't try fakie stuff too much, only half cabs and cabs, learn to ride first though and get really comfortable, oh yeah don't try tricks not moving, learn them moving!, oh yeah and once you have olies don't go crazy trying to learn kickflips, instead progress to going to a skatepark and learning boardslides and 5050's. then you can take your tech level to the next one.
don't do sleep and get 8 hours of drugs
