Where is some good camping in colorado... perferably within 2 hours of denver.
i really dont know, but when you find out let me know some good spots. just dont go camping at st marys glacier. the weather is so unpredictable up there. i went this summer and it was raining and windy as shit. theres no firewood at all, and it sucks.
hmm, ive never been camping in colorado before, but i heard there are some sweet spots there
Stewie: Yes, but no sprinkles. For every sprinkle I find I shall KILL you!
Stewie: Oh I feel so delightfully white trash. Mommie, I want a mullet.
there's too many to list but I like the waterfall area by St. Mary's Glacier or any of the campgrounds around lake Dillon.
what about camping areas in Summit and Clear Creek County?
go up 285 to pine jct and there's tons of camping or even better, go up 285 for an hour or so and you'll come over a ridge into a huge open space area, there's a dirt road off to the left just as you reach the bottom of the hill...go up there and there's some sick sick sick camping. we used to go alot in high school and college.
another spot is to take santa fe south to sedalia. turn right at sedalia and head up into deckers...lots of great camping along the river and it's only 30 - 45 minutes out of town. you can continue and go all the way up into rampart range
