the cardinals all go into there little room, and pick a new pope. When they pick one, they send a puff of white smoke up through the chimmney, to let everyone know there is a new pope

usually there are a couple of cardinals who go into conclave as favorites, and all the cardinals vote for one of the one they like

Actually they do this.

Many vatican officals and cardinals meet in a room in the Vatican City. They do so in the next 15-20 days. They have candidates for the next pope. Then each person in the room casts a vote for a candidate. Once one candidate wins a 2/3 majority, he is declared winner. From there, they burn the white ballots in a fire place, letting off white smoke as a signal, to a new pope being elected.

That should clarify some misinformation given.

I nominate 50 cent.

to most people who dont have a clue about the catholic chuch that may be surprising but africa and south america have huge numbers of catholics. For example at my church we've been through 4 different african priests and we only have 1 white priest.
