anyone ever heard of josh malay? if you ride seth's then you should know who he was. josh was a boarder that was so dedicated to not just his sport, but also to skiing. josh helped with the design process for the new seth's. josh died last season (i think) after a head injury. this kid deserves mad props though, because if any of you remember the battlekink from the usopen 2 years ago, josh slid the up, gapped the rest of the rail with a 180 and landed on the down, that is hard. we need to recognize snowboarders more. i know they give us shit sometimes, but, i for one have a load of snowboard movies, because they are a major source of the new stuff i try. if boarders like josh are throwing down not just for boarding, but helping with skiing too, they deserve recognition.

yea i actually knew josh, he was an AMAZING rider and an all around great person. he died 1 year ago late febuary, after a fall at a photo shoot in spain, where he was warming up and went off a lil cliff, he landed it but got back on his tail and hit his head on a football sized rock, he was on life support but was pulled form it, and passed away.
very sad, very very sad.
i dunno why they changed the seth's for next year, it kinda bothers me, and there is only a lil tiny JM at the bottom of the ski graphics remembering him

i remember that comp, that was one of the burliest things i've seen someone do on a board, even to this date. but from what everyone says he was an awesome dude. sucks to lose people

Josh never got to finish the graphic, Schimes did and he did a F**kin hell of a job.

I have to say that Josh has driven so many individuals in this world to push themselves everytime they hit the snow.

I would just like to add that he wasn't wearing a helmet so it goes to show that it can happen to anyone.
