don't use them on hard pack or icy crud, they suck some serious dick in the hard stuff.

they suck in everything except absolutely untouched powder - if you want a salomon pow ski look real hard to find a supermountain - they rock hard

yeah Pow Airs aren't stiff enough, I went for the Atomic Stomps and they a fucking sick... They did beef up the ski a bit for this year though. Don't count out the new 1080... its fucking wide (114-80-108) the old ones were only (108-75-100)

Yah they suck on hardpack...if you suck at skiing. I rode those all last season with no problems. As long as you don't get you're kicks carving then you're fine. The can get a bit chattery at high speeds..but it's not so bad that it can't be handled.
