2022-2023 season recap
hoping this will help generate some low pressure
After the lifts stopped spinning for the season I wasn’t ready to hang up the skis yet. With a little help from friends, I set out to build a continuous line down the frontside of the mountain. It took us 2 days to build, test, and shoot the whole line. Enjoy!

It’s been another incredible season on skis and I’ve got another installation of snow stunts for you all! This seasons been an awesome ride as Montana had received the most snowfall I’ve been present for, went back to Washington and got extremely lucky with snow, and finally made it to hood this year for spring pass and it was truly all I’ve ever dreamed of. Huge shoutout to all of the amazing homies that I got to ski with this year, the ones who filmed a few clips, and those of you watching this, I love you all :)

I have never put out an edit I am this happy with. Best skiing, best clips, favorite editing. I think it shows my progression this year the best of all the cuts. The first half is from one of the last @woodwardkillington days and the second half is from closing weekend at @loonparksnh. Please watch it through and check out the other cuts if you can.

Everything here takes place at @loonparksnh over the course of about 4 ski days. Stuff was getting soft and super fun. Not much to say here other than there's a few new tricks I'm super happy with in here and you should definitely watch to the end.

At the college that I went to, a unique culture of skiing has developed. Though far away from a good rail yard and terrain park, members of the UWYO Ski and Snowboard club are coming together to build a permanent tow rope in Vedauwoo.
This is just a taste of what might be to come.

Yew! Ski season is almost in full swing here in PA, at least I hope. I had a slew of computer issues, lost projects, footage, corrupted files, etc. I gave up for awhile in making the the last episode for the 21/22 season. With the mountains making snow and starting to open, fueled my ambition to remake the episode. Enjoy!

In this exclusive full segment from "Anywhere From Here" Mark Abma and Lucas Wachs meet up with legendary surfers Mathea Olin and Kalum Temple for the trip of a lifetime: Surfing and skiing in the same location on Vancouver Island British Columbia. This segment was a crowd favorite on tour, and it's easy to see why.
Abma sums up this "unicorn of a trip" perfectly:
"To score good snow, good waves and clear skies on Vancouver island within a short timeline required the stars to align.We saw a day and a half of sun in the long term forecast and we then decided to pull the trigger. When we arrived the day and a half of sun in the forecast increased to 4 days of sun!
Asides from Google earth, we had no beta on skiable terrain so this was an exploratory trip which added to the level of complexity. We ended up finding great terrain with the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop. The swell also came in and @mathea_olin and @kalum.temple shredded some great waves while @wachstavision and I rode some mellow waves."

Clips I gathered last season and threw together. Decided to bring back the snow stunts name as well as they were going down. Crazy fun winter even though I barely skied good snow all year, still mad fun times we’re had. Thanks to all the homies who skied and filmed with me throughout the winter, cheers to more! Such a fun day of filming our Freeski and Snowboard Team out here at Mammoth Mountain. We were fortunate enough to be able to use the Level 1 Superunknown XIX park that was made in South Park. Can’t wait for more days like this!
