I really love the hat, it's my favorite out of my collection of beanies. That's how people know me at the mountain now, they just spot to super steezy black and white EC hat. I've been asked about it a few times. The only problem of course is the stretching, and I'm sure it's from wearing it constantly. I plan to replace it with a new one cause I dig it so much.
Performance
I wear it casually around the mountain (as I wear a helmet 90% of the time when riding). So I suppose it's performance was top notch seeing as I got loads of comments on how good it looks. :P
It certainly isn't a hat you wear on the hill on super cold days. I wore it once when it was pretty chilly, and I could feel a draft. But it's perfect for warmer days.
Design
I think The Pinwheel is EC's best looking. Love the pom pom on top.
Value
It definitely wasn't $$, which I was surprised about. I thought it would have been a bit more expensive. So I say it was a good deal. Well worth the money.
Fit
The fit was perfect, nice and snug.
Durability
The only problem I have had with this hat is that I wear it everyday. So I've worn it 5 days of the week for the last 2 months. It has stretched on me, and is now a bit too big. Falls down over my eyes sometimes.
