Top sheet and bases held up pretty well from urban to landing on rocks. edges didnt last a month though. i still use them even though they are missing several inches us underfoot. great ski overall great on groomers and in the powder.
The 2014 Fischer Guru is designed for doing tricks, whether you are in the park, in the city, or in the backcountry. They are twin tipped and more durable edges (to better withstand your abuse). The Guru takes advantage of changes in ski profile technology, with some rocker in the tip and tail of the ski reducing the probability an edge will catch. This ski has a narrower waist width (85 mm) ensuring the ski will carve on hardpack and allow you to precisely begin tricks. Overall had normal usage marks but nothing remarkable after a season of 40+ days. No edge cracks after a season of rail abuse or any topsheet delam.
