I have switched out of fullt ilt drop kicks into nordica ace 1 star and i couldnt be happier! This boot is super comfy and it feels like wearing a slipper when my ufll tilts felt like a work boot. The flex on the 1 star helps you to venture outside of the park and hit up the groomers or when its a pow day at your resort these boots will still do you great. I also found that the 45 degree strap actually did help keeping my heel in place. I use this boot for my everyday normal skiing which includes park and all mountain all they way to the lucky pow days. I reccomend this boot or anything of the star series boots! they are also cheaper compared to other boots so if you want you could get a custom footbed, but in my opinion you dont need one although i use superfeet which i like.
