        Aura Optics – Games Changer’s

It is not very often that a new and exciting prospect emerges from the smokey lens’ of the snow sports, goggle industry. But Aura Optics are the new kids on the block and they are expected to send shock waves throughout the snow sports industry. Hailing from the snow capped peaks of Salt Lake City, Utah. They plan to stomp their entrance into the big time arena of snow sports. But what is so special about Aura Optics? Surely they are just another goggle company that will be shot down by the big giants of the goggle industry? Well if you assume this then you will be extremely mistaken. Aura Optics have changed the game! They are taking personalized goggles to a whole other level.

The name Aura is a good starting point when looking at this brand. The dictionary description of ‘Aura’ is as followed. AURA – “The distinctive atmosphere or quality that seems to surround and be generated by an activity.”

When you focus on the words ‘distinctive’ and ‘Quality’, these two words sum perfectly what Aura Optics are about.

When i stated in the title about these guys being games changers, i was not joking around. The frame-less technology provides profound peripheral visions, meaning you will not miss the small detail’s as you charge the sickest lines of your skiing or boarding career. The anti-fog treatment on the lens make sure that you get uncompromising performance throughout the day, regardless of what mother nature throws at you. But what makes these goggles different, and sets them apart from the competition, is the easy change set up, that allows you too personally change what you want your goggles to look like.

        The features
The lens’ are interchangeable, but not through fiddly little clasps that take you finger nails off, but rather a lever that locks the lens almost air tight, so nothing gets in apart from the astonishing views that you will encounter as you head for your line. But the most unique feature of these products is the interchangeable straps. These straps are silicone lined, providing no slip traction, keeping your goggles in place, even as you tuck your head under to get yourself round to landing that double. But do you get tired of the straps on your goggles, no problem these easy-change strap allows for you to swap out the old for the new, making you feel like you have a new pair of goggles each time you step on the mountain. These goggles will let you stay mountainside all day long and what more can you want from a pair of goggles.

This brand hasn’t even been in business for a year, but it is already expanding their team. With riders such as Zach Preobrazhensky representing the high flying freestyle section of skiing (pictured below) and Terrell Cooper represents the big mountain portion of skiing ( pictured left). These riders not only represent Aura, but they enforce their idea of everyone having an their own ‘Aura’, that pushes them to do incredible things.

So what is next for Aura Optics i hear you scream? Well on the 27th of June they hosted their ‘kick starter’ campaign, where the pre-order of their hottest new releases at a discounted price took place, it was also a chance to see the premier of their breathtaking new company film, which has top class skiing mixed with an explanation of their new goggles.

Overall this company is destined for greatness in the snow sports industry. it is not the average company that lacks passion and creativity, they have both of these essentials and more, which will eventually snowball into them having the skills necessary to grow their company to unimaginable heights. Their future into this business is best summed up with a quote from their own website.

‘While the destination may not always be visible, we ensure that the way forward always is’.

Aura optics are the next big thing!
