Stanston was born on a random day of January 2011. A group of friends, who have the passion for freeskiing, had everything needed to build a 100% made in Quebec ski brand. An engineer, a designer, a marketing director and a production supervisor. After we created our first mould, we pressed a park ski that made people talk about Stanston : it was the Cosmo. A hybrid camber shape ski with 5 sidecut points and really light.
We started to sponsor friends, riders with potential, party animals… Because what we want after all is to have fun and ski. And to ski on something that make everyone happy in the park is really nice!
Today, the K-10, the Lumberjohn and the IZON are three models that have been tested, reviewed and that are now their place on the ski market.
Ski companies try often to put our sport in a mould, but Stanston’s mentality is the opposite. Let’s make skiing a not ordinary sport, let’s be creative and have fun!
This winter, Stanston come with a new team with which we’ll film a lot. We want to bring back the core side of skiing in Quebec. Watch Cedrik Dion Poitras, Chris Lacombe, Jessy Desjardins, Marc Dandurand, Vince Cousineau & MP Donaldson this winter on the slopes and streets and don’t hesitate to talk to them. They are really sympathetic!
