Alright I will start by saying I loved this helmet but really wish it was more durable. The helmet I received was A 2013 Receptor bug and used it for a couple weeks. I ended up taking a small fall that cracked the epoxy holding the shell. I called POC and they get an A+ on their warranty and customer service. They sent the new 2014 to me and I loved it. After about half the season I took it out of my bag to see the epoxy broke again. Its a bummer but the helmets still great and I definitely recommend them. I can't talk about all Poc helmets but maybe I was just unlucky.

The POC Receptor Bug is a great helmet, i've used it for about 100 days this season and taken some bad spills, and smacked my head hard and it has held up great and kept my brain in tact. it is a very good looking helmet as well and compatible with many different goggles. My personal favourite is Oakley o2 xl. the only negative is compared to some helmets (smith maze, giro combyn) it is a bit heavier but i didn't notice it. Its a great helmet check it out if you need a new one.
