The Lab 002 is definitely the most responsive and lightweight ski I have ever rode in my 5 year career as a park skier. It is one fine ski if you ask me.
When i ordered it for a cheap price due to Surfaces great costumer service i knew that it would be a great ride.
On jumps, it kills. On rails, its a demon.
for the past week I've had the most fun on skis. Until i noticed the defects.
After the first week with them, i noticed the edges starting to crack and the ski beginning to chip severely. The performance started to drop and my reliability on the ski fell. By reading the construction of the ski on http://surfaceskis.com/hardgoods/lab/lab002/index.html i thought that this would be Surfaces step up from the past years. Only to find that is just the same construction and durability as the rest.
Overall, the most amazing ski. If i could get it for a cheap price every time i needed a new ski i would; but for the MSRP being $574.98 (USD) I would never pay that for this ski.
