I realize that this is a bike pack but I used it as a ski pack for years so I feel like it deserves a review. This bag is a nice slim pack that can hold the essentials and not much more. I used the armor straps to carry my skis in an a frame style and I put my avi shovel in the back helmet pocket. This combination worked well for shot hikes but not as well as the diagonal cable carry on my helipro. This pack is great for resort riding and short hikes but for long hike I would recommend a bigger ski specific pack. I have had and some issues with the zipper pulls falling apart just like my other dakine bag but so far nothing structural has broken after three years of use in school, mountain biking, and skiing.
