I mounted up my new Carbon Pows with a pair of FKS 18 and did so just in time for a sick early season day at Alta. The storm brought in a total of 16" just enough to cover up some rocks but more than enough to have a great time! The skis are rippin'! Their light weight allows them to make super quick controlled turns, while maintaining speed and tearing apart the chunder. They are not a chattery ski as some might think due to their carbon core. The early rise made for a great float in powder, but it isn't so much that you feel you have a snowplow out in front. Sending a few small cliffs and the good ol' backflip booters was more than fun. I can only expect more greatness from these skis!
