I loved skiing with the Smith I/O because it was very versatile and easy to use. i would definitely recommend this to anybody who is looking for a good new pair of goggles.
The performance of the Smith I/O is far better than any other goggle that I have ridden with. It is quick and easy to change out the lenses once you get the hang of it. i never had problems with fogging of the lenses or anything like that.
I think the design of the I/O was designed with performance in mind. the clip together back strap is really useful when wearing your goggles under your helmet and on your helmet.
It is definitely not the cheapest goggle on the market but it is also not the most expensive one out there. What you get for a price range of about 90 to 180 dollars depending on where you look is a great value
The I/O fits very well inside or outside your helmet. i ride with my goggles inside and outside of my helmet and they fit great either way.
So far i have used it for one season and have had no problems with the lenses, frame or straps. I have taken it on many trips to wyoming, utah, and Mt. Hood and the lenses have not been scratched, granted i have tried to take very good care of them.
