        Overall

This is honestly a jacket I would recomment to anybody looking for a good quality ski jacket.  It's warm and feels durable, and you can expect it to last a long time.   The only reason this jacket gets a 9 instead of a 10 is the MSRP of 450$ and the limited colour options.  Of course, in a shop you would likely not pay full MSRP, but some different colours or patterns wouldn't hurt.

        Performance

The 20,000mm fabric along with the sealed seams and waterproof zippers make this jacket very warm.  It cuts down on cool winds to your core, even here in the East on -25C (-13F) days.

It also has a snow skirt on the inside (which is removable), to further cut down on cool winds to your upper body.

On warmer days you can open the underarm vents to cool you down if needed. The vents are protected with mesh so you won't get snow flying down your jacket.

        Design

The colour choices are a little slim, and there are no patterns available, only 3 solid colours. I got the Slate colour which I happen to like, but none of the available colours are ikely to stand out.

        Value

At an MSRP of 450$, it is on the pricier side, but this is a technical jacket with great features and excellent construction.  The fabric feels thick and rugged, every zipper is covered or sealed, the hood is fully adjustable and removable.  The quality is apparent and I think justifies the price.

        Fit

I have the Raven jacket in a Medium, which is my typical size for most clothing and it fits perfectly.  The sleves were the perfect length and the jacket was snug but not too tight as to feel restrictive.  If you like your cloths really baggy, you may want to get a a size or two bigger than your actual size.  But if you want a nice fitting jacket, you can probably expect your typical size to fit nicely.

        Durability

Although the overall construction is excellent, I did have one small issue with some of the velcro.  One side of the bottom velcro strip on the zipper cover came loose soon after getting the jacket.  It seems the stitching on one half of the velcro wasn't secure or the thread was weak.  It was somethign I fixed myself in 5 minutes, and since then haven't had any other issues.  All the zippers open and close nicely without getting caught, and the stitching on the fabric all seems very tight unlikely to break like the velcro.
