I just saw this in chairlift diaries maybe 2012/2013 nordica skis...TJ pro model?

Ya he's gonna have line pro models. I was talkin about it with some pros over at woodward who were sponsored by line and they were telling me wallisch and strenio are gonna start riding for em and that strenio will have a pro model

this is very false. wallisch was riding on scott prototypes for his pro model. lj was riding prototypes for the 12/13 line chronics. tom is still sponsored by scott and lj isn't getting line pro models.

you sure he just left scott? a couple weeks ago freeskier magazine published that tom was going to wear scott helmets. now i know this doesn't necessarily mean he's going to still ride their skis, but why would scott talk about him being a "big part of what's next for scott" if he's not even riding their own skis?

I said scott skis. And the only reason he's rockin those helmets is because he left sweet protection so has no more helmets. And think about it, have u ever seen a pro have the same brand skis, goggles and helmet? Wouldnt make sense, its a waste of sponsor slots which is why no one does it

yeah i know you said that. but i guess what i don't understand would be why would he join scott for helmets if he's getting different skis. he wants to leave a company that has made him skis for what, 2, 3 years now and have been making skis since 1997. most companies have been making twintips for half as long as that. but he wants to wear their brand new helmets? scott's helmets are new this year, they probably aren't up to par with the other brands of helmets out there. he's tom wallisch he could join any company and wear anybody's helmet! He could go to a number of companies who have been on the helmet scene for years like smith, poc, giro, etc. i guess it doesn't make sense that he leaves scott for his skis, but joins them for their helmets. its all the same brand.

all that being said, i could be wrong, i'm not tom wallisch so i don't know exactly what he's thinking and doing. is there any proof out there that tom has left scott skis and joined line?

CHONG, you need to STFU and GTFO!

First of all, Wallisch is not going to LINE. If you kept up on your knowledge of the ski world, you'd know that he is currently working on his pro model for Scott, so why would he switch to line if he's got a pro model with Scott? Nice FAIL bro.

Secondly, lj won't be going to LINE with Wallisch, because LJ is already on LINE and is not getting a pro model. So learn up before you start TROLLING kid.

ignore this. i missed reading the posts before this with the links. there obviously is proof so there's no doubt. who again told you that tom wallisch was leaving for line skis? either you're trolling or you need to find someone else to give you your information

I was told by coaches at woodward who were sponsored by line and were pretty certain about this. And they had the inside scoop on a lot of things, like the woodward at tahoe opening soon. They have their own chairlift and everything. He was saying its like the copper one on steroids. I meam, they're most probably right about that so why would they lie about who their sponsor is sponsoring?

i don't know. maybe they were just messing with you? they couldn't have meant this upcoming season, but maybe they meant long term like in a few years he'd make a switch? i don't know, to me it just doesn't make much sense. i guess i'll just wait and see, but i have to say it would be pretty cool to have t wall skiing with line. he could be in more traveling circus episodes!

well you said he has already left scott skis. which he obviously hasn't. and you said at woodward some line sponsored people told you lj is going to start riding for line. but lj is already with line and he is riding chronics not his own pro model.

your still wrong. he is testing prototype SCOTT skis for the 12/13 season. if he were testing prototypes for this years skis, it would be too late for them to go into production. read my links. you are wrong. twall is not going to line this year, nor the year after, nor any year any time soon. stop trying to make us look like the ignorant ones.
