the general european is in far better shape than the average american- based on the percentage of overweight people in each population, this is factually true. also, don't you think McDonald's attracts a certain customer type? if you go into a McDonald's, do you really expect to find healthy, fitness oriented people?

And just to make a point, traditional french food is super fatty, lots of lard, foie gras is goose liver pumped with grain.
the fact of the matter is that the french eat in moderation, my time in the states show me that in the US its quantity over quality,
why not have a good quality cheese burger instead of a crappy quality meat double quarter pounder with a huge amount of fries?

the S.Pellegrino top restaurants list
france has 7 restaurants in the top 50 in the world
U.S has 6 close for sure and not really a point proven, until you look at the amount of those in the states that are french restaurants 4 in fact are french cuisine, so the world is against you mate, french food is almost unarguably the best food in the world, at least the most loved in the fine food world.

The worlds best chefs are french, the country with the most Michelin hats is again france.

you don't know what your talking about.

and all that shit about osama and all that, we are not talking about strength of people we are talking about obesity, just cause your strong does not mean that your not obese, and again couldn't be fucked with looking up statistics but i'm sure your wrong with fitness per capita.

australia is fat for exactly the same reason as the states, sorry if i was sounding arrogant. aussies are getting fatter and fatter, i think we are almost the same per capita as the US, I have spent a bunch of time in the states, one thing I noticed that there were noticeably more morbidly obese people, people you cant help but stare at they are that big, there seems to be no middle ground there, people are wither fit or they are fat.

Australia have a obsession with quantity also, big steaks, big meals, fast food is taking over, its cheaper and easier to go get burgers for dinner then cook something healthy.

As for me just to get some perspective, I have worked in hotels as a pastry chef for a few years, before that I was a chef de partie at a steak house. right now I got into crossfit about a year ago and has just started a Paleo Diet, going ok so far.

Michelin hats are the most respected award given to restaurants, even having one is a huge deal, its from the Michelin guide book. kinda like lonely planet for rich mangs.

And its not because they like to cook.

And Afghanistan is basically an impasse unless the us retreats or bombs the shit out of that country ...

I went to spain and france and the only fat people i saw were American tourists. McDicks is fine every once and a while, but some people dont understand. Other than how much they smoke i would say euro's live a way healthier life than north Americans
