World Cup Dreams Foundation Provides Disability Insurance for National Alpine Team

PARK CITY, Utah - The World Cup Dreams Foundation is pleased to announce that they have obtained a disability insurance policy for all members of the National Alpine Ski Team. The policy will provide financial security and support for the athletes, most of whom were previously unprotected, in the event of a season or career-ending injury.

The procurement of this essential policy is the culmination of years of hard work and determination on the part of founders Bryon Friedman and Erik Schlopy; as well as many dedicated supporters. Funds to purchase the policy were raised through the generosity of private donors and various fundraising events.

The World Cup Dreams Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created in 2005 “by the athlete, for the athlete”. Former U.S. Ski Team members, Bryon Friedman and Erik Schlopy, drew upon their own experiences and observations to develop a program dedicated to providing financial protection and assistance to members of the National Alpine Team.
