NEW YORK – February 17, 2009 – The Winter Dew Tour today announced JF Houle as the winner of the PlayStation® Pro Moment Award from the Tour’s second event at Mount Snow Resort in West Dover, Vt. Voting began on Monday, Jan. 12, the day after competitions ended. Fans could view the videos at allisports.com/playstation or on V CAST Videos from Verizon Wireless in the Sports channel folder and the PlayStation® Network. Fans could vote at allisports.com and/or text "VOTE" to 3331 from their Verizon Wireless phone.

Voters selected Houle for his impressive switch butter 270 to pretzel out on the rail during the men’s freeski slopestyle finals at the second stop of the 2008-09 season at Mount Snow. Houle captured first place in the competition and leads the season-long point standings race for the Dew Cup in his discipline.

"I’m super excited to win the Pro Moment at the second stop of the Winter Dew Tour,” Houle said. “I’m stoked for technical rail tricks to get some recognition in the slopestyle event.”

Houle faced stiff competition for the PlayStation® Pro Moment Award. Other Pro Moment nominees included:

Mike Riddle (freeski superpipe) – Riddle landed an impressive cab 1080 in competition, but failed to capture a podium finish and placed fifth in the freeski superpipe finals.

Torstein Horgmo (men’s snowboard slopestyle) – Horgmo landed a switch backside 1260, and took first place in the snowboard slopestyle finals.

Jamie Anderson (women’s snowboard slopestyle) – Anderson executed a flawless switch backside 360 and it earned her a win at the event.

Scotty Lago (men’s snowboard superpipe) – Lago landed a backside 900 and captured sixth-place in men’s snowboard superpipe finals.

Kelly Clark (women’s snowboard Superpipe) – Clark pulled a frontside air that helped her secure a first place finish in the snowboard Superpipe finals.

Houle wins $5,000, a PLAYSTATION®3 and a library of games to reward his skills. Online polls open on the Monday following each event.
