This weekend was the 13th US Freeskiing Open, making it the longest running ski competition in freeskiing.  Copper mountain and MSI did a great job of organizing the event and the pipe was in great shape.  The weather co-operated on Saturday, making semis and finals a great show.  Justin Dorey proved once again that he is going to be a major player in pipe contest for many years with a first run score of 95.40.  Dorey’s run was whiskey flip, right 9, left 9, flat 3 to switch 10.

In the words of Dan Marion (who is also wearing UA) “the competition is fierce today”.

Jen Hudak put together great runs all day with grabs in her spins and landed on top of the podium for her amplitude and style.
